For #WomensHistoryMonth, we have had conversations with many women of the Rutgers community about the legacy they are currently building. Meet Diana Hadad, President of American Cancer Society at Rutgers. “The legacy that I plan to leave behind is to equip the members of the two organizations that I lead, American Cancer Society on RU Campus (ACS-RU) and Residence Hall Association (RHA), with the tools to make their fantasies into realities. I want my fellow peers to know that these organizations are resources for them to find community, be heard, and make noticeable change at Rutgers. With ACS-RU, I hope that the returning members can see that no matter how large the vision is, it is possible to achieve with the tools of knowing who or where to ask and having the courage to take initiative.
