For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Eugene & Tara ✨ "We had the good fortune of living across the street from each other in the Fall of 2008. We met for the first time the evening of November 13th, following the SigEp Flag Football Team's semi-final victory (fortunately for me, Tara and her friends were bored at a mixer with another fraternity and decided to stop by the SigEp house). Less than a month later we were officially dating (I asked in a parking garage following dinner at Steakhouse 85), and less than a year later we were engaged on Tara's 20th birthday. We got married in the Summer of 2014, with Rutgers friends in the bridal party and many more in attendance. Without Rutgers, we never would have met and been able to create our wonderful family. We now have three children: Eugene (6), Reagan (4) and Luke (2). If you ask Eugene where he is going to college he will answer "Rutgers, like Mommy and Daddy!"
