For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Kim & Mike ✨ "Mike and I met in the fall of 2007 when we were both assigned to Mettler Hall as our freshman dorm. Introduced by mutual friends, we got to know each other through shared bus rides to classes, meals in Brower Commons, spending time with friends on the field between Mettler & Tinsley halls, and walking home from my job at Stuff Yer Face. In December of 2012, Mike proposed at Passion Puddle, and in September of 2015 we were married in Voorhees Chapel with four other Rutgers alumni in our wedding party and many others in attendance! Over the last fifteen years, we have travelled the world together, had many adventures & have cheered on Scarlet Knights Football with our tailgate crew in the Green Lot. We most recently welcomed our beautiful daughter Evangeline this past October! Mike and I say often how grateful we are that Rutgers Housing department assigned us both to Mettler Hall."
