For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Jennifer & Damon ✨ "If you knew me in high school you know I didn’t want to go to Rutgers. Everyone from my small town went there. I didn’t plan on falling in love with Rutgers, or finding my future husband there but I did! Damon and I met our freshman year after the RU Muddy 5k. He got on the WRONG Weekend bus and ended up on mine and we got to talking. He still says it’s the “best mistake he’s ever made”. About a year later we started dating. We loved watching the football games, going to Olde Queens and to Stuf Yer Face together. We took long walks on Cook/Douglass around Passion Puddle and over the Kissing Bridge. Our years at Rutgers were such happy times and we met the most amazing lifelong friends. We got engaged in May 2021! I credit Rutgers for bringing us together and those weekend buses too!
