For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @michele_makes & @_christian_rey ✨ "Although Christian is a Rutgers Newark alum (2009) and Michele is a Rutgers New Brunswick alum (2010), their love of Rutgers brought them together during their undergrad where they often visited each others' campuses. To be fair, Christian probably did visit New Brunswick more in pursuit of Michele. Their favorite memories include spending time in the residence halls where Michele was a Resident Assistant, having meals in the dining halls, and going to any and all Rutgers events. They jokingly say that they fell in love in Carr library (formerly Kilmer) while studying and cramming for exams. After they graduated, they got married in 2016 and couldn't imagine what life would be like if they hadn't met through their RU connection.
