Did you know that today marks 50 years since the first ever documented @springsteen appearance at Rutgers? This announcement appeared in the Targum on December 14, 1971, promoting Bruce Springsteen's show at the Ledge on December 17, 1971. The Ledge, a popular student lounge and performance venue on the College Avenue Campus at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, hosts Bruce Springsteen's first known concert at Rutgers. Springsteen performs with two other bands during that first show, Southern Conspiracy and Power House, and would go on to perform at Rutgers numerous more times before becoming striking major stardom. #DYKRutgers | #RutgersPride | #RURahRah ⚔️
