For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @gorgongirl & @tavis.anderson ✨ "A few days after Halloween Jen (an art history Master’s student) spotted Tavis (a PhD candidate in Ecology and Evolution) sporting a black Mohawk- an accident resulting from a Halloween costume- at a bar off George Street. Jen complimented his uncommon hairstyle but Tavis rebuffed her advances. A few days later Jen received a Facebook message from Tavis which she didn’t reply to for a month given how he brushed her off. Jen finally replied and the two had their official first date- a visit to the Princeton Record Exchange- followed by a party at a friend’s house. That night, a blizzard hit New Brunswick and the two were snowed in together. Over the last 14 years they’ve lived in 4 states, visited 5 countries, got married in Australia, and have added two children to their family.
