For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Imani & D'Andre ✨ "Imani and Dre met at Rutgers–New Brunswick in the Fall of 2012. While out one night with her two best friends, Imani met Dre at a party hosted by his roommates at Livi Apartments. Dre attempted to pursue Imani, but the timing wasn't quite right. Both Imani and Dre remained friends. In fact, they became best friends. Both never forgetting that day, in March 2017, they officially began dating. Some of their favorite Rutgers memories include all-you-can-eat dining hall adventures, basketball games, and study sessions. Dre has fond memories as an All-Academic track athlete. While Imani's love for Rutgers manifests through her role as the former Director of Communications at Douglass College and graduating with her Master's in Communication and Media. Imani and Dre credit Rutgers for brining them together and cannot imagine their love story without the foundation of their beloved alma mater." #RutgersPride | #RURahRah ⚔️
