For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Theresa & Tyler ✨ "Tyler and Theresa met freshman year in Spring of 2012 when Theresa came to Perry Hall to practice an audition piece for RPDC with her friend, where she met an amazing friend group living in the dorm. Theresa wrote “Tyler takes Theresa to Tokyo” on Tyler’s white board, excited they alliterated. Tyler and Theresa never dated in college. Tyler and Theresa were pivotal parts of their Rutgers experiences, from birthday celebrations, football games, Valentine’s Day chocolate in Neilson, snow days on Douglass, and countless movie nights, their friendship helped define their Rutgers experience. Post college, they Skyped and met up at Rutgers a few times. During the pandemic they started zooming nightly and decided to finally act on mutually felt feelings and date long distance. They are now engaged, living in Alabama, and planning on getting married back where it all began in New Jersey in 2022!" #RutgersPride | #RURahRah ⚔️
