For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @meggyhewitt & @maherscott ✨ "We met in microbiology lab on Busch campus in spring of 2013. We ended up sitting next to each other on the first day and became lab partners, learning to work together early on in our relationship. Our favorite Rutgers memories are studying for advanced nutrition together, working together at Saint Peter’s, and sharing fish bowls at Stuff Yer Face. My Rutgers experience wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t meet. I wouldn’t have been able to graduate in the same program as my best friend and now husband. Going to Rutgers together has shaped us as individuals and as a couple. We graduated in 2014 and finally got married on 6/4/21 right around the corner from RU in Somerset, NJ (although we both currently work as registered dietitians at the United States naval academy in Annapolis, MD)!
