For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Amalia & Jason ✨ "Jason and I met at Rutgers through the marching band in 2014. We were both in the low brass section, and for anyone who has done marching band, you know how quickly you get close to each other. After seeing each other 4-5 times per week between rehearsal, games, and low brass hangouts, we had our first date on Valentine's Day 2015 (where I told him he would have to get his own pizza- setting the expectations early on). We're also both Brothers in Mu Beta Psi, our co-ed music Fraternity on campus, where we continued the trend of people in our lineages ending up together (hi Kevin and Alison!). Since then, we've slayed the Halloween costume game (peep Bob Ross and the happy little tree), shared our love of musicals, and been each other's biggest cheerleaders.
