Before the date, I was actually going to cancel but something told me not to. I deleted my Tinder profile before going on the date and told myself that if this doesn’t work out, I’m probably gonna stop looking for someone. The date ended up lasting 5 hours, all of which were spent just talking! It was almost like it was meant to be. A few weeks after our date, he spontaneously decided to take me to New York City on Valentine’s Day and asked me to be his girlfriend. You always hear that dating apps don’t work for long term relationships, but here we are almost three years later. Today, we’re graduating from Rutgers - New Brunswick together.
