For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @lbcherryy & @ashtynlexa ✨⁣ ⁣ ⁣"Ashtyn and I met as high school seniors at a Douglass College luncheon for prospective students, and as two out-of-state students from NY, we were immediately drawn to each other. We exchanged numbers and kept in touch, only to learn later that we both wore the same dress (one shade apart) to our senior proms! I asked Ashtyn to be my roommate and from there our friendship blossomed. During first semester of freshman year we both found our way to the stage in the student-run theatre community on campus, where she spent her time shining onstage in both plays and musicals, while I could be heard playing the score from the pit. We loved our experience and immediately got involved, performing in multiple shows each year. We made so many friends and have grown so much through our time both on stage and off.
