For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @BestLifeDom & @Monibaby ✨⁣ ⁣ "We met in 2006 as I transferred from an HBCU and Monique was an incoming freshman from Georgia. We were both living on Livingston in Quad 3 house 35 but on different floors. The first weekend we moved in I went upstairs to visit a friend from High School and later met her neighbor Monique. A beautiful, southern girl with SpongeBob, pink and lime green all over her room. A few days later Mo expressed her mutual interest and we met for our first date in her dorm to watch Laguna Beach. As time grew we became great friends and became inseparable. We loved going to events like Caribbean Day, RutgersFest, evenings on College Ave and late night Fat Sandwiches. Our favorite thing to do was going to football games, 11-2!! Our junior year we started dating, graduated together, and moved to Charlotte NC.
