For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Jennifer & Jay ✨⁣ ⁣ "I met my husband Jay in 2015. I was starting my graduate program at the Graduate School of Education at RU New Brunswick. I had an internship in conjunction with my academic program. I worked in the Paul Robeson campus center at Rutgers University-Newark. Jay was earning his Masters of Public Administration at the time from RU-N. We both were graduate interns for the same office on campus. As Jay was preparing to graduate from RU-N, we started dating. He moved down to Delaware to start his career and I followed a year after once I graduated in 2017. We both started our careers in Student Affairs. We got engaged in 2018 and were married in the Fall of 2019. We celebrated with many of our RU peers and colleagues who we are still connected with at our reception.
