For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @princess_jlp & Ryan ✨⁣ ⁣ "The Jersey girl meets New Hampshire boy and was weak in the knees at first sight with his backwards green hat (not pictured) and chiseled jaw. We met at a “Transfer Picnic” June 2006 before school started September 2006. Both lovers of science we lived on Cook campus in the Starkey’s and Jenny made it a point to be best friends with Ryan’s roommates but was a nervous school girl around him. Ryan studied⁣ Plant science/turf management and Jenny Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. After a few dates we agreed we were both “good catches” and changed our relationship status via Facebook. While at Rutgers we would talk about our future - Jenny stating “I can just be a dietitian anywhere” and both agreeing “if we can’t have kids we’ll just adopt!” and both agreeing “If we ever end up together we’d like to live half way between our families”.⁣ ⁣ Fast forward 14 years and here we are!
