For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Jess & @xmbvr ✨⁣ ⁣ "We met each other during my junior year at Rutgers. I was switching dorms at the time and was placed into her's halfway during the semester, and quickly after moving in, it felt like I had met my best friend for the first time. I was a new transfer student at the time, and the connection Jess and I had was instant. Whenever either of us had rough days, we were always so attentive and understanding. And on happier ones, we were each other's right hand. We bonded over everything, from food to fashion and family and friends. She supported me in all my endeavors, whether it was starting student organizations, studying for difficult exams, or even just searching for part-time jobs (I always had the hardest time). Jess and I always made it a point to be each other's friend first, meaning we were non-judgemental with one another and provided one another with a constant safe space to be ourselves, wholly and without scrutiny. ...
