To celebrate National Farmer's Day, we would like to to put a spotlight on @rutgersstudentfarm 🧺 ⁣ The Student Farm, located at @rutgersgardens in New Brunswick, functions as an outdoor classroom for hands-on coursework throughout the year and is a source for local organic food. In the interest of supporting the local community, fresh produce is donated weekly to @elijahspromise and the Community Soup Kitchen in New Brunswick, amounting to hundreds of pounds annually. ⁣ ⁣ The summer interns who contribute to the farm operation are part of a 16-week Student Farm Internship Program.
