For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @s_dne_ & @raescape_ ✨⁣ ⁣ "Me and Sydney initially met during a summer arts program (@evolveartist) where we built our portfolios to submit to art schools. We lived in different towns so I didn't hear from her until a couple months later, when we both were accepted into Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts (@mgsarutgers). Syd asked if I wanted to be her roommate freshman year but I declined saying that I wanted the 'college experience of rooming with a random match'. Looking back, I wish I took Syd up on that offer sooner. By the end of freshman year, we grew close through our art classes at Mason Gross and she convinced me to sign onto a lease with her at Rockoff Apartments (Now @socam290) We proceeded to room together for 3 full years! We've met some amazing people along the way, created mutual lifelong friends and were present for our best and worst moments. I think the best part about graduating is being able to look back on the end...
