On This Day: April 9th The Class of 1984 Professional Player Inductee, Ben Crenshaw won themasters for the second time in 1995. It was an emotional victory for Crenshaw as it came just days after the death of his friend and mentor, Harvey Penick. His first win at Augusta National came 11 years prior in 1984. The two Masters victories were the only Major wins of his career. Be sure to check out the detailed Digital Museum Exhibit on Mr. Crenshaw at the link in our bio.
