For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Erin & Jonathan ✨ "I transferred to Rutgers my sophomore year, the spring semester of 2016, and took the leap to sign a lease to a random apartment with a bunch of random girls I did not know. Luckily for me, my roommates quickly became my best friends, who introduced me to their extended friend group (all of whom were juniors, and had been friends since freshman year!). One of the people in that extended friend group was Jon. Our friendship was next to nothing (in fact, we actually didn’t really even get along) until the summer of 2016, which is when we started to spend more time together, be more open with one another, and realized we had way more in common than we ever thought. In only a couple of months, we started dating, and will have been together for six years this upcoming fall. I watched him graduate in 2017, and he attended my graduation in 2018.
