After sadly losing their baby girl Ellis to Turner Syndrome this offseason, Pete and Lydia Fairbanks created “Strikeouts for Ellis” where they donate $100 to the Turner Syndrome Foundation for every strikeout he gets this season. On July 28th, the day Pete and Lydia hosted the Turner Syndrome Foundation at the ballpark, Pete got the save and ended the game on a strikeout and thus another donation to their cause.
