This individual will assist in the distribution and creation of original content for Major League Baseball players’ social media accounts. This person will be a member of the Player Social team at MLB, supporting the team’s primary goal of providing content to MLB players to help them better engage with audiences on social media and grow their personal brands. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of baseball, a keen eye for quality content, and the ability to work well in groups or on their own. 

**Responsibilities**

* Follow games to identify and distribute the best content to MLB players on a daily/nightly basis
* Work closely with live content creators at each ballpark to ensure content is being captured and distributed to all players in the program in a timely manner
* Sift through content - photos, and videos - and decide what content is highest quality and worthy of player channels
* Track posting of distributed custom content for major MLB events
* Follow MLB players’ content to provide to MLB content team for reposting 
* Communicate with players, agents, and clubs directly in a professional manner
* Work closely with the design team and video editors to create and deliver high-quality social content to players 
* Handle submission of player verification requests to social media platforms 
* Miscellaneous player social support projects as needed and assigned 

**Qualifications and Skills**

* 1+ year experience working in social media, digital content, or athlete relations
* Bilingual (English & Spanish) candidates preferred 
* Strong understanding of baseball and our players
* Experience creating social content or demonstrate the ability to do so
* Understanding of what type of content works best on each social platform
* Availability to work nights and weekends
* Standard video editing capabilities preferred

**Pay Range:** $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Player Social Coordinator (Seasonal)

This Social Designer (Seasonal) will support marketing efforts through digital graphic design for MLB events, editorial, brand, sponsorship, ticket sales, advertising, paid content etc. The Designer must be a team player who can balance creativity and tight deadlines in our fast-paced environment.****  

**Responsibilities**

* Produce and design daily graphics for all digital and social platforms and ensure the look and feel stays on brand
* Support Director and Designers on the creation of graphics and design templates for daily and featured concepts
* Work with editors & social coordinators to understand the project pipeline and objectives
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
* Contribute to the creation of new concepts for designed graphics, templates, and jewel event imagery
* Stay current on design and social trends and share with other members in the team on best practices
* Work days/nights, weekends and holidays for live game coverages, on rotated basis

**Qualifications & Skills**

* BA in Graphic Design or related field
* 3-5 years of experience working as a Graphic Designer 
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator
* Strong knowledge of Asana, Google apps and MS Office apps
* Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
* A keen eye and confidence when it comes to graphics design, typography and information design
* Capable of working within the guidelines of an existing graphics package to maintain consistency and quality
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Knowledge of multiple social media platforms – specifically Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, TikTok
* Demonstrates proficiency in typography, layout ,hierarchy, branding, and photo manipulations
* Must be flexible, deadline driven, a great collaborator and must be able to deliver graphics with complete accuracy
* Knowledge of baseball is a plus as it pertains to sports graphics
* Capable of taking initiative, following department processes and procedures. Must adhere to existing workflow and file structure
* Ability to work night, weekends and overtime as needed

**Pay Rate:** $25.00 per hour

Major League Baseball is looking for a Design Lead to oversee the development and execution of applied brand design across MLB’s key visual identity systems. This role will serve as a Design Lead for brand development, working closely with the Brand Strategy and Event Leads to ensure clarity, consistency, and cohesion across all MLB design outputs. 

**Responsibilities**

* Overseeing how brand guidelines and style guides are translated across real-world applications
* Managing high-level projects with a focus on consistency, quality, and clarity
* Partnering with the Brand Strategy Lead to help evolve and expand brand toolkits
* Providing design direction and quality control across production-ready assets
* Support the expansion and consistency of MLB branding by liaising with key partners — including Broadcast, Consumer Products, and other internal and external stakeholders using official league marks.

*Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure our brand lives across platforms with integrity and impact. This includes:*

* Working closely with fellow Design Leads across Brand Strategy and Events to deliver unified solutions
* Mentoring and managing Senior Designers and freelancers
* Collaborating with Digital, Social, International, and Partnership teams on asset development and rollout
* Building our brands with a focus on brand guidelines and usability
* Supporting design implementation for major sponsorships, media campaigns, and partner activations

*Drive brand development across physical and digital channels. This includes:*

* Executing brand touchpoints from large-scale activations to digital graphics and signage
* Refining in-market and event materials to ensure they reflect brand intent and league vision
* Creating clear design systems that scale from campaign concept to venue implementation

*Champion team-wide collaboration and shared ownership of creative output. This includes:*

* Working closely with project management and production leads to keep timelines and priorities aligned
* Monitor and guide the application of MLB brand assets across platforms
* Supporting the growth of team members through feedback, delegation, and design critique
* Contributing to Global Design process evolution and upholding a positive, collaborative culture

**Qualifications & Skills**

* Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
* Minimum 8 years of experience in branding, graphic design, or visual identity systems, with 2+ years in a leadership role
* Experience leading creative teams or mentoring junior talent
* Deep understanding of how brand systems scale across physical, digital, and experiential platforms
* Strong portfolio showcasing identity systems, brand development, and campaign execution
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint)
* Experience working in or adjacent to professional sports, particularly at the league or agency level
* Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
* A passion for sports culture and a commitment to collaborative creative leadership

**Salary Range:** $105,000 - $120,000 (Base Salary) + Bonus
