Wishing a happy 100th birthday to Reverend Bill Greason, the oldest living Negro Leaguer. Greason was a lifelong friend of Willie Mays, his teammate on the 1948 Birmingham Black Barons. In 1954 he became the first Black pitcher in St. Louis Cardinals history. A World War II and Korean War veteran, Greason proudly delivered the first pitch before the #MLBatRickwood game this past June.
