For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Aliyah & Zach ✨ "Zach and I met in 2017, my senior year at Rutgers. From the very beginning we hit it off and became really great friends. He was a first year grad student from Iowa and I was a Jersey girl, so we didn’t think we would have much in common at first — but we were pleasantly surprised. We started dating a few months into my senior year and some of the best memories we have are hanging at Olive Branch, library study session, the Rutgers movie theater, and basketball games. Once I graduated in 2018 he was right by my side, and I was by his when he got his Master’s in 2019. We even co-hosted a Christmas party together out of the Livi Apartments with some of our closest friends. Rutgers definitely would have not been the same without meeting each other.
