As we head into the later part of the summer, we are highlighting each of our amazing P.J. Boatwright Jr. interns for their incredible work with the Texas Golf Association and today’s spotlight is on James Gutierrez. James is from Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors in Journalism and Minor in Marketing. James is an intern in our championship department in the South Office. James has aspirations to work as a sportswriter and his most memorable part of the internship was getting to meet some incredible players at the USGA Qualifiers. James favorite thing about golf is getting to play the game with his family and friends.
