He asked me out on a date to Old Man Rafferty’s with a rose in hand (such a gentleman). Life has never been the same since. Rutgers means so much to us because it brought us together. We have so many memories there - from the classes we took together, to the Rockoff and Richardson St. parties, to hanging out with friends after classes doing absolutely nothing. We got married in 2015 and even had RU fat sandwiches at the end of our reception. We then had a baby girl in 2020.
