In honor of finals season, let's throw it back to Voorhees Library in 1934 šš°ļø
Voorhees Library, which was opened in 1904, took the place of the overcrowded library on the second floor of Kirkpatrick Chapel. Throughout the majority of the 20th century, this new library met the needs of Rutgers College students. The Alexander Library opened its doors in 1956, and the Art History department declared Voorhees its new home.
