Before Rutgers had a campus, the first classes were held in a tavern! 📜🍻 In 1771, a handful of Queen’s College (now Rutgers) students attended classes at the Sign of the Red Lion, a tavern on the corner of Albany and Neilson Streets in New Brunswick.
