In 1999, as the world navigated the dot.com boom and Y2K anxieties, Rutgers-Camden was undergoing its own transformation. That’s the year, the Scarlet Raptor first took flight 🐦. This bird of prey replaced the Pioneers as the school’s new mascot, revitalizing Rutgers-Camden's athletics and ushering in a new era of school spirit.
