Today would have been Mazen Al-Hamada’s 47th birthday. Mazen survived Assad’s torture chambers and dedicated his life to exposing the regime’s crimes. He was tricked and arrested again in 2020—and in December 2024, just days before liberation, the Assad regime killed him to ensure he would never see a free Syria. They tried to silence him. But his voice lives on—in every protest calling for justice and anyone who takes the torch to fight for those lost in Syria. We remember Mazen. We fight in his name. #JusticeForMazen
