Rutgers held its Scarlet Service celebration Wednesday evening at the College Avenue Student Center in New Brunswick to recognize the students, families, nonprofit organizations and direct-service government offices who made this summer’s internships a success. President William F. Tate IV and New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Commissioner Jacquelyn Suárez were among the speakers at the annual event, which highlighted the scope, purpose and impact of the Presidential initiative that has provided more than 500 Rutgers students with meaningful, paid internships since 2022. #ScarletService #wt4ru
