Aarion Maxey-Penton was a star in the Pirates’ secondary from 2021 through 2023 and a 2022 All-IFL Defensive First-Team selection. He was a pivotal factor in the team’s championship title in 2021 and a focal point of some of the best defenses in franchise history. With 143.5 tackles, 31 pass breakups, and 12 interceptions, he holds a variety of franchise records. Maxey-Penton assisted in coaching the IFL’s No. 1-ranked defense in 2025.
