The Cornerstone! 🏴‍☠️ Congratulations, Defensive Back - Khalid Wooten, you have been selected into the 2025 Pirates Hall of Fame Nominee class!  Khalid Wooten helped deliver the Pirates’ first championship title in 2021 with a game-changing forced fumble in the United Bowl. As a cornerback, he possessed tremendous ball skills, knocking away a total of 16 passes in 2021, the fourth-most in the IFL that season. A former NFL Draft selection, Wooten was a cornerstone for the Massachusetts defense. Fan Voting for Wooten will open September 28th at 8 AM (eastern) on the Pirates’ website.
