As 2025 closes, we’re celebrating the thousands of students who make Rutgers incredible. These are some who defined excellence: Marisa Syed (Rutgers-New Brunswick): Launched the first youth-led program in the U.S. teaching literacy to incarcerated individuals. Jacqueline Lopez (Rutgers Health): Earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, proving mental health is no barrier to success. Courtney Edmundo (Rutgers-Camden): A powerhouse on the court and in the classroom, Courtney maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA while leading as a star athlete.
