For this week’s #TBT, we are featuring a specific selection for #RutgersBannedBooksWeek ❌📚 This 1924 copy of Ulysses was owned and given to the libraries by our very own Nobel laureate, Selman Waksman. Ulysses was banned in the United States until 1934 because of obscenity. Waksman would have needed to smuggle in this piece of contraband literature. Ever read a book worth smuggling? Let us know ⬇️ #RutgersPride | #RutgersExcellence 🌟
