In this edition of #WhatRUMadeOf, we had the privilege of speaking to Lilian Agu (@nai__lil) a class of 2025 @rutgersartsandsciences student majoring in Sociology and Africana Studies ⭐️ Embracing her Nigerian heritage was a journey rooted in the rebuking of what she eventually learned made her uniquely herself. “As a kid, I hated going to parties that didn’t end until 3am. When you think the party is over, everyone gets up to dance once more. I was always frustrated by it, but now that I’m older, I see the beauty of celebrating and bringing the community together. I see the beauty and the power of our music and dancing.” Be sure to check back in throughout #BlackHistoryMonth for more student stories! 🗣️
