For this week’s story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @razmetazz & @dgioinslippers ✨ “My wife Val and I met at Rutgers. Much to my surprise, we met at Rutgers Swing Dancing Club. As a notoriously shy and terrible dancer, I took a chance to join the swing dancing club in my sophomore year. At the start of our junior year, Val and I really started to connect. Although Val rolled her eyes at the sight of my orange gym shorts paired with a red Rutgers shirt, we were repeatedly told to quiet down as we continued to talk through the entire dance instruction portion of the meeting. As we started dating and attending more club meetings, the dance instructor often gave us a hopeless glance as we excitedly giggled or chatted while she attempted to teach us the finer details of the dancing steps or technique. Our relationship grew as we shared more Rutgers memories, such as Rutgers football games, the Big Chill, dining hall meals, and many others. We both graduated from RU in 2014. Rutgers has always...
