Week 15 was packed with save-of-the-year candidates, chaotic scrambles, and a spotlight moment for one of the NHL’s biggest goaltending stars. Washington’s Logan Thompson showed incredible reflexes and recovery, scrambling back into position to make a huge pad save against Montreal. In Vancouver, Kevin Lankinen just got the blocker down in time to keep an Ottawa chance from crossing the goal line, while Detroit’s Cam Talbot calmly snagged a glove save on Boston’s Morgan Geekie. Buffalo’s Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen slid across to rob Nikita Grebenkin, and in Vegas, Adin Hill delivered a save-of-the-season candidate — flipping backward and making the stop while facing the wrong way on Bobby McMann. Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky had a massive week, starting with a breakaway save on Jordan Staal using the toe of his skate, then flashing the glove again later with a lunging stop on Tyler Toffoli.
