For this week’s story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have Jon & Dawn ✨ "Jon (aka Curly) and I were friends most of senior year. We met at Old Queens through mutual friends who played rugby. Jon was on the team, and my roommate and I would go to some matches. As the year went on, we developed a friendship. As the end of the year was nearing, I needed a date for my AXO formal, and I thought he would be a good time. He accepted my offer, and our dating story began. We graduated from Rutgers in 1995, were married in 2001, and had a daughter in 2002 and twin boys in 2004. We have fond memories of our time at RU and every chance we get, we go up there for a game, meal or show. Throughout the years, we’ve made family trips to football games, basketball games, and gymnastic meets. Our favorite place is Thomas Sweets, and I can’t not get a blend in if I’m on Easton Ave! But we also love Stuff, Old Man’s, and I miss JP Lees! We celebrated our 20th Anniversary in August 2021. We bought a brick at the ...
