Rutgers Future Scholars is the leading college access program providing first-generation and low-income students with the life-changing opportunity and support to get to and through college. President William F. Tate IV spoke about opportunity and impact at the program’s annual welcome celebration on Thursday at the Nicholas Music Center, where 215 middle school students were inducted. Since its founding in 2008, more than 3,900 students have participated in Rutgers Future Scholars. Seven partner institutions have replicated the model including LSU, Michigan, James Madison, and the University of Toronto. #RutgersPride #wt4ru
