Congratulations to outfielder Peyton Bonds and pitcher Zack Konstantinovsky, who were selected by the San Francisco Giants and Washington Nationals, respectively, in this past weekend's Major League Baseball Draft. A native of Franklin, Bonds is the nephew of all-time MLB home run leader Barry Bonds and grandson of three-time All-Star Bobby Bonds, and was chosen with the 90th overall pick in the 3rd round. Konstantinovsky hails from North Brunswick and was selected with the 406th overall pick in the 14th round. Fourteen Scarlet Knights have been drafted in the last five seasons under head coach Steve Owens. Rutgers is the only Big Ten school to have a player selected in the top three rounds in each of the last four years. #rutgerspride
