Newly minted champion Karl-Anthony Towns teamed up with UPS driver David Delarosa at Fanatics Fest to deliver some championship gear to four huge Knicks fans.
This isn't the first time KAT and David, a UPS driver of 30 years, have teamed up to surprise Knicks fans. Right after the Knicks lifted the trophy in June, KAT and David traveled around NYC delivering gear. With Knicks fans packing the Javits Center for Fanatics Fest, KAT and David had to make a sequel.
David found the fans and KAT made the deliveries special. First up was Knicks superfan and podcaster Sylvester Mensah. Then came Anthony Donahue and Joseph Solano, friends and Knicks fans, who live and breathe Knicks basketball. Finally, the mad hatter of Knicks Nation, J Steven Barkley could barely hold back tears as one of his favorite players handed him championship gear from his favorite team.
Their reactions say it all, but probably something like, "Knicks in five." It's just what happens when KAT and David link up.
