Word of advice for ANY interns entering the sports industry: Know your local laws! Do not let teams bring you on board for "experience" without any pay or school credit attached to the internship. You are supposed to be there to learn and be mentored... not being used a "free" employee. As an intern, internships are meant to benefit YOU, not the employer. The myth that internships are unpaid and the experience is the benefit is no longer valid. These "exciting" or "highly desirable" internships are a dime a dozen if you look in the right places... do not allow yourself to be used.
