For this week’s story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @matt_sontz & @a_tydysky ✨ "I am Matt Sontz from Wallington, NJ. Lillian Rodriguez was from Harrison, NJ. In 1996, I was a Rutgers engineering school sophomore living in the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Lillian was a freshman English major who commuted to Rutgers College from her dad’s home in Edison, NJ. We both worked at the then-new Lowes Theaters on Route 1. We would hang out at work, at my fraternity, all over campus, and downtown New Brunswick. We loved late-night runs to Pizza City in New Brunswick. We did everything together. We fell in love. I graduated in 1999 and went to Rutgers law school in Camden. We got married in 2002. We had our first son Tyler in 2003, and I graduated from law school. Lillian graduated in 2004, and we bought our first and only house in Westfield, NJ. We had our second son Dylan in 2007.
