The 6’3”, 280-pound defensive lineman joins San Diego after spending the 2026 season with the Orlando Pirates, where he recorded 52 total tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks in 14 games. Mason signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2024, participating in training camp and appearing in two NFL preseason games. He later signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL in 2025. A former standout at Wofford and Coastal Carolina, Mason earned four All-Southern Conference selections before finishing his collegiate career with 67 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks in his final season.
