Today marks seven years since the Russian military became involved in Syria to assist the dictator Bashar Al-Assad. Russia has now used its veto power 17 times since 2011 to protect the Assad regime and prevent any efforts to support the Syrian people—from blocking humanitarian aid to millions of Syrians to shutting down investigations into human rights violations.  To this day, such crimes continue with impunity. #Syria #FreeSyria #سوريا #روسيا
