I (Riya) joined the urban planning department at @blousteinschool, and Ranvir joined the Masters of Business and Science. Even though we were in different majors, we lived right opposite each other on Lewis St in New Brunswick. We quickly became friends for our shared love for New York, movies, music and food. Whatever we earned in our part-time jobs, we’d spend it all visiting NYC every other week. We explored every inch of New Brunswick, the Rutgers campus, going for movies in Livingston, eating at Busch, strolling through Cook Douglass, late-night partying in George st, grocery shopping at Key Foods, barbequing in the backyard, running in the snow in Buccleuch park, or early morning part-time jobs as light rails surveyors for NJ Transit.
