For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @bethanngrace & @dr_nick_occhipinti ✨ "Bethann and Nick attended Rutgers University as undergraduate students but did not meet until they were professional staff of RU. They began their relationship as coworkers at Rutgers Recreation, where they became best friends. They both remember the day they met each other in 2013 at a fitness event called "Judgement Day," where their lifelong friendship began. They worked side by side for years, laughing through meetings and conferences together. They made their relationship official in the summer of 2017... just as Nick was leaving Rutgers to go back to school for his doctorate in Chiropractic. After Nick graduated from Chiropractic school, they started their life in Freehold, NJ and were soon engaged in July of 2021! One year later, they married at The Breakers in Spring Lake (the beach is their favorite place!), surrounded by many Rutgers friends and family. With Bethann still working for Rutge...
