Did you know that October is American Archives Month and Rutgers has 5 archives? 📚 @Rutgers_SCUA is in the basement of Alexander Library in New Brunswick and is a resource for both New Jersey and Rutgers history. It is the largest, most comprehensive collection of NJ materials in the state and includes rare books, manuscripts, maps, photographs, prints, genealogical resources, newspapers, ephemera, and more. The Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS) and the Newark Archive are both located in @runewark_dana. IJS is the world’s leading jazz archive which holds collections relating to Count Basie, Mary Lou William, Abbey Lincoln and so many other jazz greats, while the Newark Archive documents the legacies of the Rutgers—Newark campus.
